Tex-Mex
If you are a Texan, but not currently living in the Lone Star State, let me apologize in advance for the excruciating waves of homesickness you are about to endure, for today's Photo of the Day showcases that most Texan of cuisine, Tex-Mex.
Of course, you start with chips and salsa and a margarita. This is called the Texas Twister -- frozen margarita with a swirl of frozen sangria.
Then a classic Tex-Mex dish: cheese and onion enchiladas topped with chili con carne, Mexican rice, black beans and a pork tamale.
Finish it off with a hot sopapilla and honey.
