Don't get me wrong, I love digiscrapping, and I don't think I could ever go back to paper scrapping. But as I prepared to cut apart the bookmarks I printed out for Rachel's class, there's just something about holding the Xacto knife against a metal straight-edge, and gently but firmly dragging the blade across the paper. Matching crop marks up exactly, holding the straight-edge down with spread fingers. It reminds me that deep down, I am a graphic artist.
I never got into paper scrapping but can totally imagine why you would feel that way! I LOVE your bookmarks. They came out gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh I agree...these bookmarks are beautiful! I love them!
ReplyDeleteI understand that feeling completely! Glad I'm back in touch so I can check out everyone's blogs!
ReplyDeleteI love the bookmarks too, just beautiful!! I paper scrapped for almost 20 years so going digi was hard for me so I totally understand your emotions here!
ReplyDeleteI have a paper project I have to start and I'm so not looking forward to it. Maybe I'll feel different when I actually do it! Great photo!
ReplyDeleteWow - You did each of the kids' names in calligraphy!!! These are darling!!
ReplyDeleteJust make cards! I found a great set of card inspiration books and I've gone to only doing homemade cards, and digi scrapping for the albums. Truth be told, I still do a paper page for my daughter's album if there is some had made item I don't want to photograph for her album. Cute idea for the book marks!
ReplyDeleteI can TOTALLY relate! And your bookmarks look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful bookmarks - but I don't know what you mean because I've never done paper LOL But I'm sure, if you've been a paper scrapper before, it will always have a special place!
ReplyDeletemore time and room for the mess and I would sooo keep those goodies going :) love your picture and journaling :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable bookmarks! Wish I had time to pull out all my old paper scrappin' supplies. I do miss it sometimes.
