So many of the "iron on" patches on Rachel's Brownie vest are coming off, I plan this evening to sit and sew them all on, as well as the two newest ones for "Fall products" and a day camp last month at Baylor with the Engineering Department. Cookie sales are coming up in a couple of weeks and already I'm a little worried about getting them sold. I learned last year to hit the neighborhood as soon as we can and sell as much as we can that weekend before the town is saturated.
Wow - flashback to Campfire girls for me - great photo! and beautiful blog btw!!
ReplyDeleteWoah, that's alot of patches to sew!! My Miss L is a brownie for the first time this year (didn't want to do it last year) and loves getting patches, only two so far though! Great shot.
ReplyDeletePoof... my comment is gone. I was saying that you could come do the mending here! Good that Rachel can do GS. They are a great group.
ReplyDeleteOur Brownie troop meets tomorrow to get the details about cookie sales. I agree with your idea of hitting the neighborhood early. We have a sash and I like the vest much better.
ReplyDeleteoh don't remind me. I have a bunch of those darned things to sew on...
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of patches. I thought of enrolling B in GS but couldn't find a group near us that met during a time convenient for us.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of patches, way to go Rachel!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the cookie sales, that is my favorite part of January!! (ok its the ONLY part of January I like, besides the end)
Ours start Friday. It is going to be tough with two selling this year - competition in the house!
ReplyDeleteLots of luck with cookie seasons, its to bad I didnt live closer I would be your best customer LOL Great photo!
ReplyDeleteLove this photo! And it caused me to flash back to Girl Scout days. I'm looking for a cookie layout in the next week!
