Our dog Max is pretty old, about 13 years old. He spends almost all of his time outside because he, well, can't exactly control himself, if you get my drift.... But with temperatures below freezing for several days straight, we let him in and he's hunkered down on an old blanket in the kitchen.
Bless his heart! I'm sure he is grateful! I can't believe how much our cats are staying in - we used to beg them and they almost never came in. Our neighbors/landlords have an old cat they don't allow in at all and he has been down here mewling pitifully at our door. Unfortunately he attacks our cats and we can't let him in more than a few minutes, whereupon he eats like he is starving - I think maybe his food is frozen too. Hope this thing passes soon!
ReplyDeleteOh he looks like a sweet little old dog!! It's COLD in your neck of the woods - I think there is something weird going on in the world with all the cold weather and snow in the States and in Europe, but Iceland staying rather warm and snow free!!
