Fried Chicken & Okra
Stephanie and Jessica eating Bush's fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cream gravy. I love the friend okra. Doesn't get more southern than that. And Rachel tops it off with Mountain Dew.
Oh my word, I am salivating! That meal looks so good and so full of carbs. Sigh. I should be stripped of my Southern Girl stripes as I grew up on fried okra and have never cooked it for my girls. I hated the slimy boiled okra but the fried was yummy! I think I will have to fix this for the girls one night - ah the power of suggestion LOL!
