We're staying a few nights at the Hampton Inn, still going to school and work as usual. We have a crew coming in to refinish the floors in our house. We went by tonight to check on the animals and the floors are almost completely sanded. It's the first time we've seen them since there was carpet in the house. It's going to look really nice!
But in the meantime... remember the nice newly remodeled family room (see Monday's entry). Well, it looks like this now. All of our belongings are in the family room and kitchen while the living room, hall and bedrooms are being done.

What a pain, but it will be so worth it when it's all finished! Can't wait to see the pictures...
ReplyDeleteThat must be interesting, to be living in a hotel while still doing everyday life stuff. I always associate hotels with relaxing :) On the other hand, it does relieve of doing household chores :)
