It was cool and cloudy today but I had to get out of the office for a bit, so I drove 10 minutes or so to Cameron Park just west of downtown Waco. I walked for a bit along the path next to the Brazos River, listening to my iPod.

Lots of squirrels scampering about in the huge trees. This fellow caught my attention.

I couldn't resist the urge to take another bluebonnet photo. There are patches springing up all over the city after last week's rain.

Other wildflowers are starting to pop up, too, here are some evening primrose.
What a lovely walk to take - the green and the flowers look wonderful. Good for you for getting out of the office for a walk!
