There's something iconic about school photos. I take tons of photos, so it's not like I actually need a school photo, but I have a collection of photos of each of my girls hanging on the wall. I also like to collect the class photo, mainly because it was a luxury we could not afford when I was growing up. I really like how Rachel looks in this photo. She has an appliance in her mouth that is preventing her from sucking her thumb and consequently, bringing her palette down and closing her bite. She has to wear it for two more months.

Rachel's 3rd grade photo
