Christmas Box
I turned in our box to the church office. It has a bar code, so we can follow it and find out what country it will land in. We put in some items for a girl, age 10 to 14.
Yay, Operation Christmas Child! Wow I haven't seen those neat boxes! We bought plastic shoeboxes last night. We are trying to do two and the girls' AWANA class is doing a few as well. I love that they have bar codes this year so you can track them. I LOVE this program as it's something we can participate in even on our bare-bones budget. Lily was just saying today, "Mom, sometimes I wish we had more, but the kids we are sending our boxes would probably think we were rich, spoiled girls, we have so much." They so enjoyed picking things out - we chose girls aged 5-9 since they are doing 10-14 years at church.
