Ginormous Pizza

With the girls gone to Florida, we went to our favorite (not necessarily theirs) pizza place: Rosatti's. With this extra-large (I only had one piece!) we won't have to cook all weekend.

Packed for the Disney Cruise

Stephanie and Rachel are leaving tomorrow to sail on the Disney Wonder out of Ft. Lauderdale. Paul is going to drive them to DFW where they'll meet up with Paul's mom, dad and brother, who are flying in from San Jose, CA. They'll have such a great time, we all cruised on the Disney Magic in 2005.

Six Flags

Stephanie and her friend Chelsea are ready for a day at Six Flags over Texas. Stephanie had looked forward to this all summer. Unfortunately, the Y program leaders apparently don't understand that when it's 100+ freakin' degrees outside YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOUR CHARGES HAVE PLENTY OF WATER. I'm majorly pissed off and tomorrow we are cancelling our membership.

The Fields

It's been a brutally hot summer and the fields of corn have long since dried up. They are now baled and scattered in fields all over Central Texas. This particular field reminded me of Van Gogh's painting.

outgrown and off to Goodwill

I've never been one for garage sales or selling on eBay. All of my girls' outgrown clothes are headed to Goodwill, where they can outfit another girl for school!

Ready to Go Shopping

Today was a big shopping day. First the girls and I went to Ditto, a consignment shop near our house, so they could get some dresses for their Disney cruise next week with their grandparents. Then to Old Navy for jeans and long shorts for school, and to the shoe store for some shoes to go with the new dresses.
Stephanie is inseparable from her phone and is in a contest to see who can text the most.
Rachel is growing her bangs out and letting her hair get longer. I think this is the longest it's ever been.
